“How do I know if my TEER NOC code is included in the BC PNP occupation list?”

In order to answer this question, you must decide whether you are applying for BC PNP Skills Immigration, Express Entry BC, or BC PNP Tech pathways for skilled workers. The following guide contains the updated BC PNP occupation list 2022 for each British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program.

  • BC PNP Skills Immigration: This stream is for skilled workers who have at least 2 years of full-time work experience in any skilled occupation under TEER 0, TEER 1, TEER 2, and TEER 3.

Express Entry BC Occupation List

When the BC Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) was introduced by IRCC in 2015, it was aligned with Express Entry. The Express Entry BC (EEBC) allows eligible applicants to receive priority in processing their applications for the BC PNP. The following streams are eligible for BC PNP Express Entry:

  • EEBC Skilled Workers
  • EEBC Health Authority
  • EEBC International Post Graduates
  • EEBC International Graduates

The eligible occupations for the BC PNP Express Entry categories are the same as the corresponding Skills Immigration categories. For example, occupations eligible for the BC PNP Skilled Worker category of skills immigration are also eligible for the EEBC Skilled Worker category.

You must also be eligible through one of the three federal immigration programs to apply through Express Entry BC. These programs are Federal Skilled Worker Program, Federal Skilled Trades Program, and Canadian Experience Class.
