Skilled Worker Outside Canada stream of the Prince Edward Island Provincial Nomination Program (PEI PNP) is meant for foreign workers outside Canada. If you want to apply for a nomination in this stream, you must have received an NOC TEER 0, 1, 2 or 3-level job offer from an eligible employer in the province of Prince Edward Island (PEI).   • Age: You should be between 18 and 59 years old.
  • Express Entry Profile: You may not have an Express Entry Profile.
  • Connection to the Province of PEI: You may not have a connection to the Province of PEI.
  • Job Offer: You should have a permanent job offer from a PEI-based employer. Your position should be per the National Occupational Classification (NOC) TEER 0, 1, 2 or 3. Your employer (who has made the job offer) should have had the job offer approved via a contract with the PEI Immigration office.
  • Work Experience: You must have at least 2 years of permanent, full-time work experience at NOC TEER 0, 1, 2 or 3. This experience must be full-time and should have been acquired in the past 5 years.
  • Education: You should have completed a 2-year post-secondary education (diploma or degree).
  • Intention to Live in PEI: You should demonstrate an intention to live in the province of PEI.
  • Investment Requirements: You may not have any investment requirements.

Language Proficiency Requirement

You must demonstrate your language proficiency in English or French by any of the following methods:

  • Taking an official language test according to the Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) level 4 or,
  • Getting a signed language declaration from the PEI-based employer who has made the job offer or,
  • Get credible documents that testify to completing your English or French education.
