On 25th November 2020, BC invited 360 candidates under Skills Immigration (SI) stream, and Express Entry BC (EEBC) in the latest British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) draw. BC invited 360 candidates to apply for Canada PR.
The applicants were invited under Entry Level and Semi-Skilled, International Graduate subcategories and Skilled Worker.
Under the BC PNP Tech Pilot, BC issues invitations every week to applicants who crack the eligibility criteria with a valid employment offer in the key technology profession. The BC PNP draw refers to those applicants. In case that your occupation isn’t on the list of key technology professions, you may still be qualified to apply. BC keeps on conducting weekly draws for qualified candidates across various occupations, based on the programs processing and yearly allocation capacity.
Occasionally, BC welcomes the highest scoring candidates in every category to apply to the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP). BC selects effective candidates to apply to Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) to gain Canada PR. The below table shows the score required for successful candidates to qualify for BC PNP.

If one has to apply for BC PNP, you need to create your profile on the online portal of BC PNP. The candidates are invited based on work experience, education, employment location, and language proficiency. If your application is approved, you can use provincial nomination for applying to Canada PR.
Candidates applying under the Express Entry system gain additional 600 points towards their Express Entry Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score. These applicants have viably ensured an Invitation To Apply (ITA) in a future Express Entry draw.
The BC PNP Tech Pilot is the most optimized, a fast-track Canada immigration pathway for international students and qualified IT workers.
To be considered for BC PNP for Canada immigration to obtain Canada PR, applicants need to have a valid employment offer in one of 29 eligible occupations. Applicants who receive ITA have 30 days to submit the complete immigration application.
IRCC invited 354 applicants for BC PNP draw under the Express Entry BC (EEBC) and skilled worker immigration category. British Columbia PNP draw was held on Oct 27, 2020 with a score between 75 and 94. Largest BCPNP draw was on Sep 29, 2020 when 450 invitations were issued.
International graduate, skilled worker and entry-level & semi-skilled candidates can apply through EEBC and skilled immigration (SI).
The minimum scores that was required for SI and EEBC are mentioned below:
SI – Skilled Worker: 93 points
SI – International Graduate: 94 points
SI – Entry Level and Semi-Skilled: 75 points
EEBC – Skilled Worker: 92 points
EEBC – International Graduate: 93 points

IRCC invited 100 applicants for BC PNP draw. 80 applicants are invited to apply through Express Entry BC (EEBC) and skilled worker immigration category. British Columbia PNP draw was held Oct 20, 2020 with a minimum score of 80.
IRCC also invited 20 other applicants under BC’s Entrepreneur Immigration program where 15 & 5 applicants are invited under Entrepreneur Immigration Base Category and Entrepreneur Immigration Regional Pilot Program with a minimum score of 122 and 109 respectively.
