On March 15, 2023, IRCC surprised the candidates with another big all-program Express Entry Latest Draw by inviting 7,000 candidates with a minimum CRS score of 490. This is the first all-program draw since January 18, 2023.

The Latest Express Entry Draw surpasses the previous high of 5,500 applicants invited in the last all-program draw that happened on January 18. Candidates from all three Express Entry programs, including the Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP), the Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP), and the Canadian Experience Class.

The Express Entry Latest Draw breaks the trend of program-specific draws that had been happening over the previous two months. There have been four program-specific rounds of invites since the last all-program draw, three for PNP-only candidates and one for FSWP candidates. Only 697 individuals earned ITAs from the most recent PNP-only draw on March 1.

The Latest CRS Cut-Off Score is standing at 490 since the last all-program draw held on January 18, 2023. IRCC purposefully increased the draw size to 7000 for the Latest Express Entry Draw to prevent the CRS score from rising.

Will CRS Drop After the Implementation of Bill C-19?

The CRS cut-off score might drop below 490 in the upcoming Express Entry Draws. The Next Express Entry is expected to happen on March 29, 2023. Many candidates with low CRS scores are also expecting Occupation-based Express Entry draws.

IRCC recently mentioned that targeted Express Entry Draws could start in the spring of 2023, most likely in March. But there are no specific updates on how and when Bill-C19 will change the Express Entry.

After this draw, there is a hope that IRCC will continue big-size draws more frequently in the future. This means that candidates with CRS Score below 470 can get invitations within 4-5 months.
