Employment and Social Development Canada (ESDC) has published some updates regarding the LMIA application processing. One of them being, ESDC will not process applications for LMIA for some NOCs in the Accommodation, Food Services and Retail Trade sectors. ESDC has also updated the list of NOCs eligible for the 10-day expedited processing and the preference is given to 43 occupations in the agriculture, agri-food, and trucking sectors.
